Use game.exe as your gamespy3d/All Seeing Eye target instead of ce.exe. - Under the "GameSpy" menu choose "Games and filters" - Scroll down to "Codename Eagle" - Verify the folder path of the game (same place to install this) - Verify that "Command Line:" is set to "game.exe" How to use: - Install to your Codename Eagle directory - Host/Join via game.exe use the mapmanager - If you want to bypass the mapmanager use CE.exe instead of game.exe Note on auto downloading: If a map is not found, the ceMapMirrors.txt file will be checked for locations to download the missing map. Map format (for mappers): All levels must be in either a .rar or .zip and placed in the /_Maps/ directory The level folder must be of the form: /Level_MapName/ Modified files are in the form (you can replace any file except .dll, .exe, .nfo): /Mod/modifiedFile.whatever /mod/Sounds/Fx/CoolFXSound.wav FOR PEOPLE THAT WISH TO HOST MAPS: Create a ceMapMirrors.txt containing all the levels you have hosted Include at the bottom, the link to your own file and others you know of: *MIRRORS; // Locations of other files like this one http://www.rex3d.net/ce/ceMapMirrors.txt Then post the location of your .txt file for other people to see so they can and include it in their ceMapMirrors.txt file on their site.
